Description
This is the house where we rented two rooms (the two leftmost windows) before our family moved, finally, in February 1979, to our state-granted apartment where we live to date. A brief description of the rooms: a kitchen with a coal-fired stove for cooking and heating, and a living room; a ramshackle toilet and a water well outdoors, and a leaking roof. Klaptsova is the name of the street. The photo was taken with the Soviet-made 35-mm camera Zenit-E.

Food for thought.
I believe you when you say that it would be tough to live there in the state it was in but it looks utterly charming and stylish (apart from the roof). Are houses like this good if they're in a decent state of repair?
